Thank You for All your support


Dear Friends and Supporters,

The staffs of LTLS are pleased to share with you --- this LTLS children education program.

The overview of LTLS program in Loikaw, Kayah State (Karenni State) in Myanmar, and highlights a few selected program activities. LTLS continues to support children education until we reach our target to 200 children to be educated in our community.

While many complications and difficulties exits, First, and foremost, we would like to express deep indebted gratitude to the most important persons in our entire life, our beloved Bishop Sotero Phamo, Bishop of Loikaw from Kayah State. How much we appreciate his quiet leadership, faithful guidance, valuable comments, and wholehearted support in which he helped us to implement this project.

As well, we would like to thank to our donors to

Student's achievement of 2007-08


LTLS has supported 41 students in 2007-08 academic year. There were 21 students in Grade 10, 17 students in Grade 9, and 3 students in Grade 8. 10 students passed in Grade 10 out of 21, 16 students passed in Grade 9 out of 17, and 3 students passed in Grade 8 out of 3.

LTLS committee members are continuing working with Parent Teacher Association (PTA) to support our needy students with wholeheartedly the achievement of LTLS project mission and each student's goal.



LTLS's activities for 2008-09 academic year


Let the Light Shine Program has been supporting 51 students for 2008-09 academic year. 42 new students have been selected for 2008-09 academic year by LTLS's committee member and Parent Teacher Association (PTA). Students are from Loikaw, Demoso, Phruso, and Pekhon townshop.
